Alison Sudol

Music was a non-feminine place to be in and so accepting this type of femininity was an exciting challenge for me. For me, it was very difficult to say, "Okay I can be robust, feminine, and soft. Take care of yourself and not diminish myself." It was a lot of enjoyable to put on heels, an outfit, and wear soft curly hair every single day. This was extremely stressful as I'm not as old as the other actors in Fantastic Beasts]; there was a lot of stress. It was a bit strange. I could feel a force pushing me up. There was a chance for me to get crushed under it or collapse from the intensity with which I longed for this role, and the sheer size. It is possible to spend all day in the streets, exploring museums, parks and coffee shops and simply observing the individuals. In LA and London, however the Tube puts you right at the heart of the action. All kinds of human being you could imagine can be seen. I like watching individuals. When you work in the industry of music you're constantly in the company of males. There is a sense that there is a need to be close to women all the time. It's a wild, surreal dream. I've read through the whole book in the series. It was wonderful to have the ability to read the books while on tour. It's always changing places and that can make it difficult to stay focused. Yet, the ability to relax to such a vivid and vivid world in the comfort of your bed is truly amazing. Alison Alison Alison
